car alarms

I really dunno much about this area. Just wondering wut are some good brands out there and if there is a difference in brands. what are some features that i should b looking into and what are the price ranges. I am planning on upgrading my alarm system from my factory system. all i know is that i don't really think it's neccessary to get a remote start system. thanks for the help guys.

well honestly i dont think there is no need to upgrade ur alarm if ur not going to get remote start. unless u are thinking to put those extra sensors, back up battery, window roll up, pop trunk open, extra horn and stuff but i think u can still add that to your stock alarm. but correct me if im wrong.
