I dont have anything detailed, but it is very simple. I had no idea what I was doing and I think I had everything done in less than 45 minutes. Just unbolt the stock airbox and resonater ( the piece in the wheel well) and rip them out and throw the intake in there, its that simple.

you have to take off the splash guard... it's the plastic lining all around the wheel well... taking that off took me longer than anything else. you need to pop out the fasteners w/ a flat-head screwdriver. there's two bolts on the resonator, then it just pulls out.

well i got mine in successfully and it makes a huge difference. it's very loud but i think it's worth the noise. my check engine light is on so i need to have that checked out, but everything seems to work fine.

I just hooked it up with only the bottom support tab. The top one is left up high. This was most likely due to the bypass valve creating a bigger gap...But I was too lazy to cut the pipe, and I have no clue how to take out/screw on the nut for the top support tab. Holds fine. I've already been in an accident that hit that side of the car. The intake didn't move one bit. Here's a pic:

I just have the short intake. It rains a ton in the summers in miami and I don't want water getting up in there. I'm not willing to take a chance of blowing an engine for a little more power!

I've had a CAI on my CL for close to a year and I've no problems at all. I've driven for hours in Miami rain. Just don't do anything stupid like driving through a 3 ft. deep puddle.
