Installing clear turn signals

hey guys, help out a newbie will ya?

I got my clear turn signals in the mail today for my 99 3.0, but I can't find the post which explained the install procedure & type of bulbs to buy. Tried a whole bunch of search commands and I've learnt some pretty interesting stuff regarding installing new audio components , but nothing that specifically answers my query

look inside the black part of the bumper, just next to the corner lens... you'll probably need a flashlight, but you'll see a hole and inside there will be a philips screw... losen the screw and the lens should pop loose.

The bulbs are a 194 for the corner light and the turn signal is either a 7440 or 1156.

168s will also work (as well as the 194s).

Make sure you save the spring assembly from you OEM lenses. You'll need them for the clears.

Good Luck!

Explain a little more please... do you want to switch the lower corner light with the turn signal?? Do you want to make the turn signal a dual filament bulb so the whole lens lights up when the parking lights are on?? When I had my cl I changed the socket for the turn signal bulb to accept a dual filament bulb (1157) and hooked the dimmer filament up to the corner light and the brighter filament up to the turn signal.

Is there a way to get the corner light (next to the headlight), the turn signal light and the side marker light (the one next to the turn signal) all to light up when I want to turn on the parking lights? Also, I'm planning on getting some fog lights. Will they turn on only when the headlights are on or when the parking light are on?

thats what I did, by using an 1157 bulb, the turn signal bulb is on with the parking lights... but gets brighter for the turn signal. so the top corner light, the bottom corner light and the turn signal are all on for parking lights.

The 2 corner lights are on with the parking lights anyway, so the only modification needed is to the turn signal bulb.

If you get the factory fog lights, they will turn on with your headlights... unless you modify the wirring at the switch, thats how they will be. If you add aftermarket fog lights, you can have them turn on whenever you like.

i asked a local speed shop near me, and their answer was if i got the wiring harness from an acura integra, and then ran the power from the corner lights to the extra power wire on the harness...thats what i heard....kinda makes sense when you think about it...

u dont need a new harness or any BS like that ... take the bulbs out of the light there are 2 wires for each bulb cut both wires for each bulb ( make sure to leave enough on the bulb side to reconnect ) then all u have to do is connect the corner light wires to the blinker and the blinker wires to the corner ... there fore the blinker now stays on and the little corner light blinks .... very simple

here a pic http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...threadid=66419

any probs just holla
