Inside trim question....

whats up everyone, i saw a 99CL premium and the wood on the cdenter console blew my mind. I know this piece would look dope in my car, and it looks to be the same shape as the gray plastic i have now....anybody know if itll be an easy swap?

'97's have a little different of a console compared to the '98/'99's, I don't know if what you're talking about will fit properly.
They do make wood trim kits for the '97's.

You can buy the "wood" center piece from Acura. They sold it as an option. http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...IES+-+INTERIOR Product #6551 $57.12 + shipping

However, I would recommend getting an entire wood kit. It will give you much more "wood" than just the center piece. http://www.autoanything.com/dashkits/default.asp $145.95 (free shipping)

Someone on here has replaced the center of their 97 with the 99 I have taken the console out and its not that hard, im guessing the swap would be fairly str8 forward or you could do the wood trim suggested by dusterbuster. I have a similar wood kit, click the link in my sig for a pic

Works great! So far I've carved over 2 seconds off the 1/4 mile (with more to come).

I am concerned that the tranny will give out much sooner than it would have without the N2O.

Im actually up to 221,000 and havent had any major problems. The tranny is doing fine but it's a five speed (still on the original clutch even)
