ingalls camber kit wouldn't fit my car

just letting ya'll know that a camber kit would not fit on my car. however, ingalls has a new part for low clearance control arms, which has been a problem with accords and preludes in the past.

anyway, i just wanted to give you guys the heads up on this new part. i haven't gotten it installed yet, but i have it.

i'll post an update after the install.

this is the part: http://ingallseng.com/parts/3557.htm

Um, that link shows a 98+ Accord ball joint. Your car uses the 97 Accord ball joint.

Adjustable ball joints are the best way to go for camber adjustments. THey are a pain to install though.

The kit didn't fit the front, rear, or all?

yeah i do need a camber kit for the pro kit drop.

scott, this kid tyler ordered it for me. it most likely won't work either and i'll just get another part from his shop. whatever, i'm not that worried about it.

and the regular ingalls camber kit would not fit the front, i only got a front kit.

I didn't need camber...Neither did most other people I've talked to. Do you think putting on shocks later instead of doing shocks and springs all at once made a difference? Or perhaps the type of shock? For instance, I know Tokico's lower it .5 inch more.

joe, i got the shocks installed with the prokits at once. and i have the tokicos. so that is probably part of it.

anyway, the guy who ordered it for me didn't know my car was a 97 and also didn't realize there was a difference.

now i'm trying to find something else. jeez. it's a pain, especially since a camber kit won't fit on my car.
