You'll need a new distributor cap and ingition module/coil. I got my Accel 300+ at re-racing.com since they list an ignition fitting the 97 2.2. The distributor DID NOT fit. I called Accel and they said they didn't make one. re-racing found a cap from crane cams that fit and used the rest of the Accel kit with the Crane Cap.

I have install info on my site. A mod definately worth the money. Night and day diffefence. Acceleration is much more responsive and the entire rpm range acts like a brand new car.

get the jacobs ice pak. much more power than the msd ignitions. thats the one im getting real soon.

 

How does the Ice Pak compare with the Acell? Just Curious.

the add for the jacobs ice pak said it's supposed to show an improvement from 145-161 at the flywheel on the F22 engine. i dunno about you but that's a big increase. ask VXCL about it.. i think he knows more about it.
