Ideas/Testing Waters Boosted 2.3CL

Hey guys I just came across a deal I cannot pass up, my boss's husband is selling his 2001 S2k to me for 4500. I can even make no interest payments to them.

The problem is, I am closing on a house at the end of the month so all of my funds are pretty much tied up. I have decided to sell my Turbocharged CL but have no idea how much it is worth.

Basically it has 120k miles on the motor, 240kish miles on the body and has been boosted and tuned since December. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the car outside of normal wear and tear.

Here is a link to all the pictures http://photobucket.com/bgsrmyth

And here is a link to my build https://acurazine.com/forums/1g-cl-1997-1999-56/beginning-boosted-cl-project-749705/

I want honest opinions or suggestions. I was thinking 4500 as is with everything including eibach lowering springs not currently on the car.

Items that can be removed to reduce price DVD player, Alpine component speakers with 4 channel amp, 12" sub and amp/cap.

If I was feeling generous that day I could throw in a spare f23a1 with 240k miles on it. (ran perfect when it was pulled)

PS This is not a for sale thread so please do not remove. I am simply getting ideas for now.

probably only if you sell it to some teenager, as for KBB its not going to be even close since it was swapped.

I think if u sell it to an enthusiast I think u could make that much. Otherwise it's gonna be tough. Why is he selling the s2k so cheap?

Damn $4500? I would sell myself on a street corner to pick that up. Don't think I'd make very much but I would do it I love S2K's that much. In my opinion that car was revolutionary, mainly because it was so fast with an NA 4-Banger.

U might get that much on craigslist. But not unless you clean up that engine bay. Paint or powder coat get some wire loom. As it looks pretty rough as is.

Thanks for the advice, best offer so far has been $3500, so its still mine. I actually had to drive it the past few days since Im waiting on rear tires for the s2k, old ones were showing wire. Boost is still fun but man the handling sucks compared to the s2k (even with it having bald tires).

well i would expect the handling to suck compared to a RWD roadster that was specifically designed to handle well lol.

wow uh 01 ap1 for 4500?

salvage title? absurdly high miles or frame damage? that's quite...low

congrats on the sale though, I've always wanted a boosted f. those motors are seriously bulletproof
