One of my friends bought a 3.0 CL about two weeks ago, thanks to me convincing him to. We finally got around to racing tonight. The only track in South Florida is closed for the next month due to remodeling. So we raced on the street. His CL is a '97 3.0 bone stock with 50k miles. Mine you can read on my signature. We'll all I got to say is it wasn't even close. I won by at least 5 car lengths. I even got a horrible start and peeled out for what seemed like a really long time. I really thought that it would be a closer race. Well another one of my friends videotaped the race so as soon as he uploads the video to his website I'll be posting up the link so you guys can see it. This was my first time racing another CL so I had no idea what to expect. I guess my mods did pay off.

did u spray? cuz then that makes sense. on the highway its no contest for u. hell easily hit 130+ while ur 2.3 barely gets anything 125+ we need more hp bad

Yes I sprayed and that makes all the difference in the world. I know that with out my NOS I would of lost. I'll be putting the link for the video tonight.

I just finsished seeing the movie for the first time and its pretty shity. The first car to go by is me the second car to go by is the 3.0 CL. The other cars that go by after are just my friends in some integras.

i raced a 3.0 with "nos".. or nitrous oxide.. as it was called before some fuckin moving came out.. same shot as mine.. 75 shot.. and i beat him by a half a car length.. he was kickin himself in the ass.. and i didn't know he was spraying until the race was done

Down 112th? Was this between Sunset and Kendall? Damn, I miss clownin' around down there. Did you hear about that white CL that got into a huge crash down 104th st last week? I heard it went into someone's back yard. I think that was one of my boys, but I'm not sure. Just heard about it from a friend.

better be a big suprise.. i decided to keep the h22a so i don't have to pay through the roof insurance on 2 cars.. .. soo as close as i can get to 30lbs of boost and a 200shot.. in an 1800lb hatch.. i hope its a good suprise.. btw i saw a stock h22a hatchback with 17lbs of boost and stock ecu.. run 10.52

Nope it was on 112th right by tamiami airport. I haven't heard anything about a CL crash. All I know is it wasn't my white CL. Yeah clowing around is always fun but not the safest thing in the world. The same 3.0 CL that I raced went back to the same spot about 20 minutes later to race an integra and right when the both lined up to race a Florida Highway Patrol pulled up and gave them both warnings for lining up to race or something like that.

RidinLow all let you what kind of track time to expect from a 2.3 CL with a 75 shot as soon as Morosso the closest track to Miami opens up next month.

By the way you guys with tracks a couple minutes away a really lucky. This track is like an hour and 30 minutes away and its the closest one. I guess that explains why theres so much street racing in Miami.

I used to have a prelude and there is no way the h22 is going to take 30lbs of boost AND a 200shot. It'll probably take the 200shot, but not the 30lbs of boost, or both for that matter. What size injectors are ya going to be using for this 200shot+30lbs of boost combo?

Sorry man, but it just doesn't sound believable.
