I just ordered 18" 225/40/18 Katana Ducati Silver with Nankang NS2..Opinions Pls.
I just ordered me a set of 18" Katana Ducati
http://www.wheelmax.com/Wheels/Katana/ducati-silver.htm
with Nankang NS2 205/40/18 tires
http://www.wheelmax.com/Tires/nankangns2.htm
for $900 shipped, mounted, balanced and lugs.
Questions:
1. Are these decent rims?
2. Are the tires decent? Never heard of them
Im not into any type of racing, just for weekend use.
3. Anyone have these rims on thier current Cl now that can show me pics of it?
Thanks,

I dont think it's a hosting problem. I think the [img] option on
the board might be disabled or not working right now.
Those are valid links.

Not for track use....I gave up the track a little while ago.
Just for street weekend use, I dont even use my car on the weekdays.
So the combo is decent? and the price?

Oops...typo, I ordered 225/40/18 not 205, sorry.
Ok, I just called up wheelmax and they said they can switch out the tires for Kuhmo 711's for the same price or I can go with something like Toyo's (not sure which model) for an extra
$75 - $100..
what to do?
I really dont want to spend more money. Again, not for track or street use, just for weekend cruising. Are the Kuhmos any better than the Nankangs?

I know...that's what I'm nervous about.
The rims look nice, and I did a terrible job at a photoshop image I just did (im bad with photoshop) but I wont know for sure til they are on the car.
Last time I wasn't sure about a set of rims was with my last car;
97 Honda civic EX coupe and the rims looked real nice on them, so I trust my taste a bit.
see for yourself

My rims look kinda similar to those. I saw katanas like those at one shop, but bought some other rims at another shop later on. Maybe i should have gone with the katanas though. Check out the link in my sig to see pics.
