Yeah man, RI has been the same way lately. Yesterday i got some new wax, Turtle Wax(the red colored) and i took out all my small chips! I went up to NH boarding and on the way up my car got killed behind a salt/sand dumper. I thought i was gonna need a paint job, but my autobody buddy said try out the red stuff first, and it worked. BTW, i have a 3 step of Zaino, but i am not crazy about it. I have another wax which works just as well, if not better. Easier on and off.

I would buy a claybar and make sure the car is perfect before starting to zaino again. if you do it right it will take 1-2 claying plus two washes before and two after another 1-2. then applying the z1 or zfx 30 min. then z2 and drying time plus buffing 2 hrs. I would start really early in the a.m. so the clay bar wont stick to the hot paint.

here are some motivating pics

it takes all the little bumps and junk out of your paint.
It takes a while to do it (2+ hrs if you do it right) but it is definetly worth it. that way the wax or polish will go over a slick surface and not trap the bums and junk into your paint. My favorite part is that it leaves the car feeling smooth as glass

Having a local guy most be nice. I have to order my stuff and zaino takes forever. But i found a guy that will accept paypal and will ship the next morning. Sure beats sending checks to Sal
On the other hand, not having a local guy means my whip is the only blinding mirron on the road

Sorry man..should've posted or something :P

His name is Ira and he used to post on this board once in a while...not sure if he still does. He accepts credit cards too! That's why I went with him. Picked up all my supplies in an hour including the drive. He was also nice enough to help me out with some car stuff...I think he works for a dealership. Forgot which company tho.
