I <3 my tranny.
So i don't know what they did at that shop, but it must be some kind of magic voodoo shit. It's sooo smooth and the power is a helluva lot better. But the best thing is how well it's using the power. The past 25,000kms i've had the car is was getting around 400kms for 50L or 12.5L/100kms. The first 60L after the rebuild i got 500kms or 12L/100kms. The next tank was 11.76L/100kms, then 11.5/100kms. This last tank was 10.1L/100kms. always use 87 octane.
this is pretty mixed driving too. i drive 20kms to work at an avg of 70km/hr. then deliveries are 50-60kms in suburban 40-60km/hr zones. with teh occasional romp on the highway at 100-145km/h
anyways, that's better than what the CB7 was doing on 94 octane.

wow that's actually not too bad at all
glad to hear the cl is running great now...and wow 28mpg...I'm nowhere near that...more like 20mpg on a good week. But I guess I'm just happy the second oem tranny is still running on me.

thanks. yeah, i got a good deal, took a couple months though. But i'm really happy with it and realistically 264,000kms on a tranny isn't too bad considering what a POS it is.

[QUOTE=kraftey]$1582 CAD? That's like, what, $3000 USD now?

actually, you guys are a little bit ahead today 1,582.00 CAD = 1,560.32 USD as of right now.
I know it would have been 3000 at the dealership.

Or am I wrong? Cuz when I was there I swear they were saying miles, inches, gallons, etc...

I paid 1400 in 2001 or so when mine died and got 1200 back after I took Acura to small claims court since I had told them from about 10,000 miles until 32,000 when it died that there was a problem.
The car has 50k on it now and the trans has been flawless.
