hp formula

i searched but couldn't find the answer i was looking for

what is the formula for figuring hp to weight ratio

example
let's say a 200 hp to the fly, front wheel drive car that weighs 3000 lbs does average 15 second qtrs
when you do weight reduction to lets say 2500 lbs with no other mods what will be the average qtr time be?

with a stripped down to the dash and 1 seat, i think 2500 lbs is acheivable

i found some kind of like that, but that one is much better
you think input of rear wheel hp is close to front wheel hp?
i know an > % of hp is lost in rear wheel drive than front
just curious

I'm not sure of the difference in losses between front-whel and rea-wheel drive.

I assumed they were about the same (maybe less loss in a front wheel drive--no drive shaft).

BTW: Are you sure that you can loose 500 lbs from stripping the interior?

i was told front wheel drive is more efficient from crank to wheel
i guess it makes sense, less moving parts and having to turn that heavy driveshaft to the rear wheels

about the 500lbs, i think it can be done
right now i'm guessing i weigh 3300+ with stereo and dynamat
that's why i always lose to just about every car i race
so i deceided to turn my cl into a project car that's street legal
this guy out here said he could make lexan windows for the back sides and rear and with the stereo, dynamat and interior gone, 11 lb wheels, i think i'd be around 2500.
in my example in the first post i was referring to my cl with the h22
you see where i'm going with this? i can't wait
