I would be surprised if I got more than 12-15 out of my OBX headers on the 3.0.

dust -- how do your OBX's compare to comptechs? ...powerwise, anyway. I hear they make some resonation at certain RPMs... but whatever....

You guys are smoking crack. The mods hardly do shit for the 4 bangers. 15 HP with all of that combined, IF you're lucky.

If you do get them. Get a dyno before and after and you'll know what I'm talking about. If you don't believe me, ask TurboSupra (Ryan)...He used to have a 2.2 engine in his old car before he gave up and bought the supra.

i had every free flow bolt on in my old accord, didnt do jack shit for performance. maybe helped a *little* at highway speeds, but low end torque was gone. still got walked by a grand cherokee v8, my roommate's civic si, and got rice's cl 3.0 from a dead stop. i did get to race a nearly stock 98-99 accord ex 4-cylinder, i barely beat him by a hood and he was dead stock. anything short of forced induction or laughing gas won't make that big of a difference. just my experience. you're all welcome to learn the hard way.

I agree, I do on the other hand believe that people tend to "feel" things that arent there. I am sure that for many things you are able to fell something, but when people come on and say that their intake gave them 15-20hp, that is bs.

Yeah, bolt ons are pretty much a waste of money on our 2.3's/2.2's. The intake and exhaust were ok, but i didn't feel a damn thing from my dc headers.

I have to disagree.... I took off my caty and replaced it with a straight pipe... I definetely noticed the difference in torque... header gave me a little more power and smoother accelaration... and top speed increased from 120 to 135 from muffler..

Intake on the other hand... i didn't really notice the difference...
It definetely helps to pushes the car forward...

cmycl has a 2.2

Headers are like the ace card for the 3.0s.
