how much modification is needed

If I were to get the 94-95 W-type rear lip for the accord how much modification is needed to install it on the 97-99 cl? or what rear lip would require the least amount that you could suggest

Almost every rear lip needs to be modified in the middle to fit correctly thanks to the point in the middle of the car. Although the one on Chris (Blackack)'s car doesn't seem to be cut. Isn't there some info in the Noob Guide for this?

I have this lip, and it needs a good bit of work. Any accord lip will need modification since the accord has a flat back end where we have a point in ours. Mine did need cut, and still needs more work to sit flush, but you can definitely do it.

so from that link you posted the rear lip I am asking about is 2 inches longer than it needs to be? Don't really see where 2 inches being cut out of the middle has anything to do with what Chris said the problem was. Chris did you have to cut it up to make it fit and then have to make it have the "point" when putting it back together after 2" was taken out? looks almost like Chris cut his over the muffler but I may be wrong

It definitely needs shortened, mine needs more work because i underestimated how difficult mounting it would be. I have the 2 ends to line up perfect, but the point in the middle of the bumper, really pushes the lip out, it doesn't want to flow over that to meet the other piece. It needs some more work, I'll take better pics when I mess with it again. I can take pics of how it sits now if you need.
