How hard is it to convert 4 lug rims to 5 lug?

I;ve been looking at rims lately and the CL rims look awfully good, i was wondering if any of you know how hard it is to convert from 4 to 5 lug rims. I was checking out this accord (below), and was also wondering if the Accord rotors would fit on our cars.

i tried...its not easy i went and got all the stuff from a 97 lude and it didnt bolt right up...so then i tried the spindal and stuff off of a 98 v6accord that didnt work either...it can be done but just prepare to spend some money on fabricating a few things

i eventually sold all of the stuff because i couldnt bother with it
(now i wish i went through with it)

So it is possible to convert to a 5lug? From what car would we use the 5lug setup from AC v6 or CL-S? What exactly would have to be custom fabricated?

when i got all the stuff i paid 250 for everything including sh wheels...i got everything off of a 97 prelude....(has to be the base model) the front would have bolted up but the rear was where the problem was....the rear spindle on our cars is thicker than that of the lude..you would have to find someone that is willing to shave that down in order for the lude rear knuckle to fit on it...keep in mind when you get the spindle shaved down a bit it will lose some of its strength that is why i didnt goi through withit again..
well when i sold everything i came out on top so no biggy

If you could do that, it would be sick. Try using the Odyssey for a conversion. TL/CL-S rims would look hot on a 1st Gen most def.

Well, since the accords changed their lug pattern from 4 to 5 lug in 2000, do you think that they [the spindles] would match up.

d98clturbo what problems did you have with the '98 accord spindle?

Here's the easiest way to convert to 5 lugs: buy a new car with 5 lugs. It isn't worth the trouble and expense.

d98clturbo you just love taking stuff from the lude and putting it on the cl sometimes i wonder if you have a lude in your back yard for spare parts

Bitchin' CL just get 4 lug rims, and dont sell your car. Because our cars are pimp

well, a 5 lug car has a MUCH bigger variety of rims to chose from, and i believe the sizes go all the way up to 24's(?). The main reason i want to do this is so i can put on the newer 5 spoke CL rims like so:

http://wallpapers.jbcarpages.com/Acu...top%201024.jpg

I figure no one else has done it, why not be a little different?

Edit: I just read dc98turbo's post, and i think we are all trying to be different
