How hard is it to change the alternator?

How hard is it to change the alternator?

Just curious, because I think mine may be going bad.

If you were to replace the alternator with one that's similar, then it should be easy. If you were to upgrade yours to a higher output (like I did mine), you'll probably have to change either the belt or keep the same pulley (from the original one).

I had the same issue when I upgraded to a 180-amp alternator.

Installation is not very hard, just be patient, and have a helper.

yeah a helper is nice too rick also i would recommend being careful when installing too caus eyou can break a fan blade if you angle the alt. in wrong to get it into place, some imports its easier to remove the fae to get to the alt. or at least the shroud to the fan

i would rate the install a 4 on a 10 scale of diffficulty, i did the same as dust aka rick he gave me the site where he bought his and i got the same one a 180 amp from the guy in texas

Rick, did you ever continue with our case, i mean your end of the case with PRadonski? cause i am going out to the east soon for a trip and a vacaiton and i would love to stop by this guys house and beat the shit out of him

im there with yah, did i ever tell you i hired a private eye to stake out the house for a week, it ran me clsoe to 500 for it, cause i wanted that fool to go down, especially downtown with the popo

well il down for a good ass beating and for all you newbies who dont know what im tlaking about, search for PRadonski, youll find many bad things about him especially from me and dust, i was out of 800 in products and 200 in shipping bills and then the costs of the court shit and then the cost of the PI :angry: :angry: :angry:
