iam kinda pissed, because of the way my intake sounds

iam stopped at a light with a blue civic next to me.
i hear the revving and shit, and the intake sounds awesome
meanwhile my intake is kinda quiet,


what do u think it is,

and i wanna know how everybody intake sounds
on a 2.2 cl

Well... as far as I know... Intakes don't make that loud of a roar when you're stopped at the light.... but it goes BROOOOOOOM when it hits VTEC range....pretty darn loud

 

mine makes a shit loud of noise all the freaking time, I love it.

 

i don't hear mine at all when i'm at low rpm. but after vtec you certainly know it's there

 

mine is loud as hell when i hit vtec GOSH IT WOULD MAKE RAY CHARLES COVER HIS EARS I HAVE A PILOT MOTORSPORTS SHORT RAM

 

yeah except Ray Charles is blind...not deaf. Still funny though

I can hear mine all the time, granted, its a short-ram.
I enjoy the little pshh sound it makes when you give it gas.

 

yea, dont get me i do hear a nice rev.
maybe it would sound better with some headers and exhaust

 

my aem was louder than my 5-zigen exhaust on my old civic

 

if it was a blue civic then it was probably an SI ... there shit sounds real loud cause there runnin a better engine if in that case theres nothin u can do ....

oh and a short ram is gunna run louder than a cold air ... especially on an SI .. my buddy has had both and his short ram sounds like a jet engine takin off ...
