some have you might be familiar with this mod, some of you might not be. well what im gonna do is slightly extending the rear of my hood upward. im gonna put a few spacers inside the threading of the hood bolts. the mod is meant for guys with ITB's to be getting more air, but obviously im doing it for looks.

heres 650's car as an example.

 

To me it looks like the hood is out of alignment.

 

I'm curious to see what it'll look like on a CL, I had been thinking about it for awhile but I am still undecided... post pics when you do it

Yea, I have that exact mod. I ran into the back of a charter truck. It looks tight. Fuck some spacers, just give a truck hitch a little bump and your good to go.

lol i have that gap...but it was on accident...i left a screw driver under the hood hinge which bent it and left a gap just like that....oops.

You dont have ITB's. You're making your CL look like it was in an accident. Do us all a favor and stop finding ways to make your car retarded.

If you want though, next time I'm up in AC, i can swing by and give a few swift kicks to your ass and your front fender to mis-align it near your bumper so more air gets in. Free, i promise.
