you gotta cut all the inside shit out, sand it down, fiberglass a layer over it, paint it, then finish, im planning to do this as well but i need a replacement grill first, oh and its easier to do it with a 97 grill than a 98-99, ask ding069 about his grill,

also, you wanna get rid of your rims anytime soon? i want 98 3.0 or 98/99 2.3 rims

 

if you want to hollow out a grill i have done this to my grill and replaced it with some grill and some overhang material for your patio like fiberglass type of material

what i used was a dremel, the tools for the dremel was the plastic cutting tool, the round sander tool and the smaller sander tool for those small spaces you can see a pic in my sig of my grill before i put in the fiberglass stuff, its not real fiberglass like a bodykit its a material that feels and look like fiberglass and glossy material that really brings out my grill, i just did this fiberglass stuff last weekend and havent taken pictures but if you pm me i can take a pic of my dremel work and the fiberglass thing im talking about for ya
