Hold up on Suede

Ok I was planning on putting black suede on my door panel. I'm putting it on the upper part and the insert. But I was curious if you have to modify anything to get the insert out. Or do you have to pul the entire vinyl/fake leather off to get it out and resew it back together?
Here are some pictures of it.

This is the back side and the outlined red is where the insert gets pushed back.

I want the lightest grey out and black suede in there.

Sorry, I don't know much about that... It really sounds like a slick look. Unfortunately, the only guy I can think of that would know about this would be everyone's favorite BANNED Loui V. fan, Acolack (yo'). Although, Nippon_wa might know as well.

Good luck and show us pics when you are done.

no I figured it out. the door is completely covered in the vinyl and has the insert pushed in the crack and glued of the vinyl, so I tore the insert off. I just go tommorrow to pick up the suede!! I'm stoked. I'm also trying to finish up my fiberglassed rear deck lid and than suede that.

I will, I was planning on making everything black with suede, paint and leather, but that's too much so I'm gonna keep the dark grey and just add some black suede and black paint, but maybe later I'll do all the seats.
