on an hid setup on a stock housing should i get d2r or d2s?

my friend rebases oem philips 4100k bulbs for 9006 housing and i dont know which ones to get. i know if i get the d2s it might blind other coming towards me at night and if i get the d2r bulbs there may be some spots that dont light up on the road due to the reflector shield on the bulb because after all they arent made for our housings. i cant afford to do projectors now. any opinions would be greatly appreciated or past expierences.

thanks

go with d2r then since you dont want to be projectors. d2s=projectors d2r=reflectors

Talk about an S10 that hold it's value. I havent seen many going for under 12,000. Turbo and AWD in a truck, thats like a sore dick, you just cant beat it.

d2s is a brighter bulb. Alot of second gen CL's and TL's actually switch their d2r's to the d2s's because they wan't brighter and more light output.

exactly and most ppl i know with d2s in an accord or cl housing dont seem to have blinding problems to other motorists. d2r will be blocking alot of light u will need in a halogen reflector. u will have light with less dark spots.
