anyone have pictures of their HID installations on the 3.0's, I want to see how people mounted the ballasts and how to route to the battery, thanks, any info will be helpful

 

With the EAGLEYE kit that I have, there was no need to run a power wire to the battery. After mounting the bulbs in the headlight assembly (as you would with normal 9006 bulbs), the ballasts plugged into the stock wiring harness (instead of the bulbs plugging into the stock harness).

Finding a good place to mount the ballasts was the hardest part. I mounted the driver's-side ballast just in front of the wheel well. I mounted the passenger-side balast in between several stock items already mounted in the engine bay. I used several wire ties to keep the ballast in place. I don't have a pic of the passenger-side ballast, but here's the driver's-side.

 

I just took a pic of the passenger-side ballast.

 

Here's a pic of the passenger-side wiring. The blue tips are the wires coming from the ballasts and they plug into the stock harness (where the normal bulbs would plug in).
