HID conversion Kit group buy?

Would anyone be interested if we got a group buy together for REAL HID conversion kits? Around $350 bucks.

i am about to order some 7000K violet HIDs for $420 with shipping but i did find some K2 6000K for $399 shipped.

Which ones do you guys recommend? I know 4200 has the best output but you know you want the look somewhat too and these are still so much brighter than stock

I've seen them on my friend's lude.. man they look sweet. they look way better than HID's on luxury cars. He says we can get any color temp we want (blue, purple, white)... let me get back to you on the brand- I'll ask him tonight and maybe i can get a pic for you guys too (if he can send me one). I know they are from Japan though. thanks.

Will they ship to Canada? Once you get the details, then I'm in as well.

I'd probably be in for some white ones (then the fun part is installing them and finding matching wedge bulbs )

Try and secure us a 6000k set with either osram or philips ballasts and bulbs. That would be a good buy.

I want to know what brand, how bright, and how much including shipping. Do the HIDs come with a warranty? I need HIDs. PIAA super whites just arent bright enough anymore.

i can get a different brand of hid's for 6k ppl.. but they won't be as well built as the 8k's.. the 8k's are K2, which are awesome HID's.. so make me a list guys, of who really wants them, and wants what,.. and i'll see if i can get the price lower for everyone.

hey f0de, how much do you think you can get the price down to on 8k purple kits? I see they're OSRAM for the ballasts and bulbs, is that picture a blue kit?

ATTN:

I believe the brand is Eaglite (from Korea) and they use PHILIPS ballasts. Your choice of either 6000k blue or 7000k purple. The price I was given was $380. Depending on the amount of people interested, the price might go down a little. This price does not include shipping because i am picking them up from a dealer. You can buy the kit and pick them up from me or i can mail them to you and you would pay actual shipping costs. What do you guys think??

Im down for the 7000k kit in purple if they can be shipped in the next week or so. Also these are new correct? Only reason i ask is because someone on here was saying they got used bulbs and the fact that $350 is cheap not trying to offend you

These are totally new. It might take a week to get everyone in on the group buy though...so i need to know who is interested asap. After that, it shouldn't take more than 2 weeks to get here. They are coming straight from overseas. $380 is cheap guys!! Can we try to get atleast 5 people in on this?

Is this group buy only gonna be for purple HIDs? I just wanted HIDs that were bright white. I think purple, blue or any other color headlights other than white is illegal in California. Do we have a choice of color and brand?

I'm down with those Eaglites, but I thought we'd be able to get the bright whites as well. I'd take 7000k in bright whites if you can get those...you gotta figure that Philips or Osram are gonna be pretty good to go with. If you can't get the whites, I might pass till later

Hmm im greedy and wanted mine quickly but i might be able to wait How much do you think shipping will be and you might want to start a new thread saying the group buy has started and only reply if you are in on it. just a thought because it would get a quicker response

You can get either 6000k or 7000k color. 6000k is closer to pure white. 7000k is pure white with a slight violet tone. It should still be legal because they are HID's, which emit white light unlike tinted halogens. HID's really look different than halogen fake-me-outs. The light it so much brighter and clear. Trust me.

The cost is $380. Shipping via USPS costs 9-15 and insurance is 5. The packaging wil cost me about $1 or $2. So how about I put a flat rate of $20 on shipping? If you pick it up, you dont have to pay shipping.

You have a choice of either 6000k or 7000k. I need atleast 5 ppl. PM me or IM kwokyd if you have any questions. thanks guys.

I'm sure a lot of people on this board would be very helpful in giving you instructions to set up the HID's if the kit doesnt come w/ instructions.
