Help with Rims

Just had an epiphany.... I have decided to purchase rims. Now it’s probably a newbie question and I read the newbie thread, but what should I be looking for. I was hopping to buy something used.... specific sizes, width, pattern, offset... any recommendations. I had also planned to buy coil overs in the near future and suggestions.
Thanks and sorry for the newbie feel.

i have 18's with 225/40/18's. the offset is pretty high on my rims, and brings them flush with my fenders. before i lowered my car, i would sometimes rub when i hit bigger ditches, but as soon as i lowered it, i've never rubbed again.. my new suspension doesn't give at all. if i could do it all over again, i would have gone with 19's. probably 235/35/19 with a lower offset rim. if you want to see pics, just click on the www.

I'm running 225/40/18 Nitto NT 555 Extreme Performance Tires on 7.5 x 18 ADR Valkyrie rims with a 42mm offset.

I've never rubbed (lowered with Eibach Pro-Kit springs and KYB AGX struts).
