I have no clue what my car is doing. First of all, I haven't got the ignition recall on my car because my local dealer said they couldn't do it because I have a reconditioned title. So, I haven't got that yet, and I have problems with it turning off periodically. Today, I went out to leave my apt and my dash was on(my battery, oil, ABS, and security light were on)but my car was off, and my car would not turn over once I put the key in. So I have no clue what's happening and the local dealer is closed today so if anyone knows anything please let me know. Thank you all so much

 

the ignition recall should be done no matter the title

it is required by law and the company that all CL's that quilify be replaced "FREE FO CHARGE"

dont know why all the light were on but if you try to pull the code yourself you can see what you are supposed to do

what you do is look under the glove box and then there is a blue harness there clipped to the metal bar, un clip it off there and then it will come down far enough to look at it, get a paper clip and make it into a "U" shape with both ends even with each other, then jumper te two wires that go into the plug, meaning put one end of the paper clip in the one side of the wire and the other paper clip end in the other wire, but dont pull out the harness, just stick the paper clip in, make sure that your engine is off when you do this

then once you have dont this then turn the key to accessory, and then you will see one of the lights that is on blink, count the blinks, the first set will be the 10's digit and the second set will be the 1's digit, you will know there should be a short pause, if there is only one set of blinks and no short pause then its a single code

they must have run the VIN but still it should be covered its required cause it is a malfunctionaing part caused by acura not by your title or ownership
