help me save money!
ok guys I need:
1. HKS ignition kit or MSD kit
2. Magnecor wires and denso plugs
3. Helix power tower
4. Vafc (version one or two)
5. correct magnaflow hi-flow catalytic converter that fits our 3.0CL
Help me find some good, cheap websites to buy all these off of. I need to have extra cash after spending so I can go to the dyno!

well, cheapest place I found it so far is Nopi, and it's 77.81,
I found some Magnecor wires for 135,
a VAFC II for 229,
denso iridiums for 10.29 and NGK iridiums for 6.50, any difference?
I found a magnalow cat for 78.29,
and an HKS twin power for 391.
anyone find any better so far?

Aight, he's the scoop on it:
It is the newer style model that has the partial circle milling and the other half is like small cutouts all around, looks very similar to this:
The newer model is supposed to be quieter, but as per the thread linked below, Rick and Dennis said they sound the same.
The parts I have are:
1.) Helix spacer
2.) One, used gasket
3.) Four, proper sized bolts (Rick aka dustbuster4 found none of the bolts included with the kit fit, and bought new ones. He also helped Dennis aka dajuice27 put his in and they bought same bolts for that). See this thread https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ighlight=helix
What it's missing:
1.) All the bolts they have you with the kit. They don't fit anyway so this is of no concern.
2.) Throttle cable bracket for relocation. As per the thread above and my own inspection this shouldn't be needed on our car either, idk why it's there.
3.) Two, new gaskets. If you want to go with used gaskets there is one aleady on your car (no idea what condition tho) plus the one have that is in great condition, just shows marks where it lines up with the spacer. These are $1.61 each from acuraautomotiveparts.net and prob cheaper from like auto zone.
Original instructions:

I paid $70 for it so ?

an ignition system is also a waste of money unless you have spray or fi. the stock system is more than adequate, even with i/h/e, etc. save your money and get some cams. Even the vafc isnt that great unless you have heavy modding. Our engines are designed to get the maximum amount of hp/torque out of the stock settings. So unless you have some mods to justify it, all you are going to be doing is starving or fouling the engine. So basicly what i am saying is to get some mods that will make a difference over the stock parts and wait till after that to get the vafc.
p.s. don't hesitate on the plug wires though, those will make a difference. plus they fit and look so much nicer.

well I will go by the dyno of the guy on www.v6p.net who put a HKS twin power on and got 11WHP. I am getting a whole head package in March. So I will need all this stuff anyways. I want 250WHP N/A. IT IS going to happen.
BTW- I found the HKS Twin Power at a speed shop for $353 and a random tech. specific cat for $208.

maybe you aren't blowing smoke but everyone else doesnt have a clue. they are going off what their buddy told them or "butt dynos". either way 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 20 cylinders, if you arent heavily modded there is no justification for spending the money for so little difference. not to mention that its just one more thing to go wrong. He can do whatever he wants to his car and it wont matter to me a bit, i'm just trying to make some helpfull suggestions.

well, first off thanks!
and secondly, I I guess I should have posted why I want this. I'm buying a complete head package and still pondering about forged pistons....which would raise compression in addition to the head package. and with the V-AFC, that would be more fuel, more air, hence....need more spark!!!
anyone who has an ignition kit......I'm getting the HKS twin power, is this a full kit? I mean, do I need to buy any seperate wires or harness or "coil"?. I'm buying magnecor wires and NGK plugs.
