hey everyone. first hot day in nwe york, put my ac on and noticed that when the compressor comes on it's pretty damn loud, especially when it first comes on and when it turns off. it makes a clank sound when it comes on and turns off as well. i don't think this is normal and i never noticed it before. also when it comes on it turns off almost immediately before turning on again. is it supposed to come on for extended lengths of time? anyone have any similar experiences with their compressors on a 97 3.0? search is down adn any help is very much appreciated. i like to have a heads up before bringing my car in and getting f***** by some mechanic. thanks guys!

 

couldnt tell you, I only use the A/C when bitches are in the car, and only if they beg for it, cut down on such much POWER
