check the old stock header for the metal exhaust gasket, sometimes it a bitch to get off so you have to take two prybar/screwdriver's and pry it off.
its kinda round so the cat fits over, doesn't even really look like a gasket, or you can make one out of the metal tape shit exhaust shops have. hth

Do the bolts match up? A lot of headers are 3 bolt even though the cat is a 2 bolt, in which case you'll have to go to a shop and get it welded. My friend had to on his CD5 after I put his header on, only cost him $80.

get it welded, mine was wicked rattly after I put on my header and connected it to my stock cat. Welding = problem solved.

no, if it bolts together and there is a flange on one of the pipes. like it sticks out a little bit then you get that high heat liquid gasket. its black, goes on as gel and cures hard. its like 6 bucks at advanced auto
