Help! Front Bumper!

It looks easy but it is so hard to get off. Those scews are freaking tight and pretty hard to get a grip on because of where they are. I ended up going ghetto and cutting the two bottom posts off. It is just as secure as before. Not sure why they put so many supports on the lights. Another member of the board did the same thing.

Hey... I actually just replaced my headlight assembly Saturday- in the rain... Old assembly was cracked and fogged up... Ordered a new one through Honda... VERY PRETTY! And NO, I didn't pay the $250 that they wanted... The easiest way that I found to do it (not sure what's in the manual, but...)
It's only 4 bolts and 2 screws... Pull out the bumper lenses and remove the 2 lower bolts on the brackets that attach the bumper to the frame... Just need a couple extensions and a 12mm. socket... (one can be reached where the bumper lense was and the other through the lower grill)... The top 2 bolts stay!
Then, 1 screw in each fender, above the fender liner- on the edge of the bumper cover... Then holding it in the front on the "bumper" (not the cover) you should be able to lift up and slide out... kindof a pain but once you do it, it's simple... Also, you might have some plastic, ie: fender liners, undercarriage guard (or whatever) attached with those "pop-in's"... Mine of course are all broken and missing
OR JUST FOLLOW THE MANUAL THAT DUSTBUSTER4 SENT YOU... Might be safer that way.

dustbuster i would greatly appreciate the pages also. i smashed my car up a alittle and need to remove my front bumper and reattach it. lucky no dents in my bumper, but it need to be painted.

. As for the whole custom bumper thing, Wings West are on backorder for the accord Type W lip; and wont have it for another couple of weeks. Do you think you could get me some instructions for the back also? Thanx.

The rear bumper removal isn't included in my Manual. It is found in the 2.2/2.3 Service Manual (which I don't have)!
