Hi,

Hoping someone can help! My fan only comes on when I shut the car off. Both fans come on with A/C though-weird. Does anyone know anything about a fan timer relay or something else that may be causing this?

Your Coolant Temperature Switch A is either disconnected or faulty. This switch closes when coolant temp reaches 199F to enable both cooling fans to run, even if AC is OFF. You can confirm a bad switch, if the connector is attached, by removing the connector and installing a wire jumper across the connector leads. Turn key to ON, and fans should immediately start running, regardless of coolant temp.

A new coolant temp switch A is the fix for a bad switch.
