Does the defroster back window "spark" a little when on at night?
IF it does then it means that your lines on the back window have been cut thus breaking the circuit. There is a metal paint that can fix this probem.
It is called something like trace paing and is about $25 for a 4 oz bottle. You wouls use a tooth pick to apply the paint to the areas that "spark" and it will complete the circuit and fix the problem-if a broken ciruit on the back window is THE problem.
Hope this helps.
