I just bought a 98 2.3CL and after three weeks the check engine light came on. I brought the car to Autozone and they're nice enough to print the test result for me. Here're the results

P0141: O2 Sensor Heater Circuit malfunction (Bank 1 of 2)
P1739: Slip Solenoid System

The guy at Autozone said that one of them might tricker another one to come on. He didn't know which one might be the real cause. Anybody know about this?

About the O2 sensor heater. Do I need to replace the O2 sensor or replace the heater circuit?

 

do this...................go to a shop that has a real scanner and have them scan it. not a code reader like the one at autozone.

 

It could be under warrenty.

I've gotten my O2 sensors replaced under warrenty. Just don't modify the wiring or anything in relation to it and u'll get them for free.
