help car doesnt start
help car doesnt start
well my car doesnt start...i charged the battery and tried starting it and it still doenst work...when i try and turn on my car, nothing happens...my car doesnt make any sound at all...the radio works, the horn works....but my car doesnt want to start...people are telling me it was the battery or the connections...people also said it could be the starter or the alternator...well i dont know what it is...i dont know what to do...help
it may be your starter. check to see if the wires from the battery are connected properly to your starter. also check if you have a good ground from the starter. if your ground looks as if its corroded, try cleaning it with a wire brush.

How about banging on the starter while someone turns the key. You can use a big wrench or something like that. It takes 2 people though because you have to hit the starter as you turn the key to start it.

check your fuse.. i forgot which one though.. it prevents u from starting the car if its blown.. just pull them all out one by one and replace the ones that are blown..

There is a chance that you can damage more than the starter if you do it this way. My starter was damaged so bad that it would start this way but generally this will get u to where you going and that is it.
thanks peps for all your help...i found out what the problem was...and it was the starter...i hitted it and it started to work...so someone changed my starter for me today...so now im happy....thanks again people...
