well you need someone to test out the battery and alternator, if those are ok, then its most likely your starter.

you have an aftermarket alarm on the car? installed some sort of kill switch?

it may be your starter. check to see if the wires from the battery are connected properly to your starter. also check if you have a good ground from the starter. if your ground looks as if its corroded, try cleaning it with a wire brush.

If everything else works, I'm guessing it's your starter.

it could prolly be the kill switch . . . or something around there within the starter
and i really don't think it's ure battery or somewhat. . just the wiring = /

Try putting it in neutral and starting it. Even jiggle the shift knob a little in Park while keeping the key turned.

How about banging on the starter while someone turns the key. You can use a big wrench or something like that. It takes 2 people though because you have to hit the starter as you turn the key to start it.

If she got a 4 cylinder like I do it kinda hard to do that. There is stuff on top of it. You have a very narrow space. Also whoever is banging on the thing to be careful not to miss or hit too hard. There is a chance that you can damage more than the starter if you do it this way. My starter was damaged so bad that it would start this way but generally this will get u to where you going and that is it.

Banging on it is not a fix. It's just to verify that the starter is the problem. It can be done from underneath the car if it is too difficult to get to it from above.

I'm going with starter on this one...if everything else works except the car starting...it seems like a pretty safe bet to be the starter.
