The lugs are the bolts that protrude from the hub. They are where the wheels get bolted on the car with lug nuts.
pmp93cl: You can get new lugs from the dealer. You can put them on yourself, but it's definitely easier to let them do it. The lugs are fairly cheap, but their labor is gonna cost 'ya a bit of $$$. They should be able to put in a new lug without removing the hub. If you have a '97 (and it's a front lug that's broke), you'd never get the hub off yourself, anyway (well, you could, but it'll take 4-5 hours).
Good luck!

Ive never had to do it, but from a quick glance in my haynes manual, you remove the retaining screws in the disc. then, if the disc wont pull off, use the two holes (opposite sides) and thread bolts (8mm i believe) into them evenly to force the disc off. The studs are anchored in the drum, which can be removed (dont know if you need to) with the bolts if stuck also. Nothing specifically about changing the lugs.

i broke my lug nut on my acura RL a couple of months ago. i took it to my trusted mechanic, and he said it was very hard to replace. he wanted 150 in labor. i drove by pepboy and they do it for 35 bucks. it took them about 45 minutes, and it was done. i recommend having a pro do it, cause it seems hard enough. check out your local pepboy.

i used to do it on an 87 camry i had once. i needed a hole punch or screwdriver and a hammer and hammered it back towards the motor. and i popped another one in less than 10 minutes......but that was a camry

WHEN I BOUGHT MY CAR THERE WAS FOUR LUGS I HAD TO REPLACE DUMBA%*SWITCHED WHEELS AND COULDN'T FIND THE KEY FOR THE LUGS SO THEY CUT THEM OFF. THEY WERE LIKE 2.00 A PEACE. DOSEN'T TAKE LONG AT ALL IT'S EASY DON'T LET THE DEALER MAKE MONEY OFF OF SOMETHING SO EASY.
