Just dropping a line to intro me... Just bought a 97 CL 3.0 .. Had it a couple of days and started messing with it...

Heres what I got so far...

18' Konig Rims on some Nitto tires

10k HID Conversion kit

Just repainted the car (Factory green, Paint sideskirts too)

Just bought a CAI for the car (On it's way)

Dropped in a Jensen DVD player on the Bose Amped Speakers

Fixing to dropped the car with some Neuspeed springs... Maybe coil overs?

I work in IT at a Hospital and Im kind of a old fart (34)

Will post some pics of the whip tomorrow when it not raining and clean

BTW... Did anyone buy the headers off of ebay for the V6 CL??? It says 98,99.... Will it fit the 97???

But 10000k, I would assume, would catch him more flack, considering it is blue (a color reserved for police).

haha theyre not really all that purple honestly. just a darker blue. i used to have 10ks too but they didnt have enough color. so i got 12s. its more of an intense blue really. i think id have to go a lot higher to get purple. then again myabe i just have crappy HIDs

Wrong so wrong. My wife has 10k's in her chrysler 300, I had 10k's in mine had 10k's in my old bike. Now have 12k's in mine. If you get a good kit they are actually deep blue not purple. Never had any problems with 5.0 attention and believe me I have my run ins with them but no issues with me lights.

 

Didn't see your original question until now, I bought the SSAutoChrome Headers for my 97 3.0

H.I.D's get you pulled over yet? There not really a headlight color either so you would prob get a ticket for color infraction.

 

i got pulled over for my hids 12k lows they more of a dark blue ....no ticket wanted to get some for his mustang lol

 

It's the camera... I looked at that also and was like weird...?

Well just a update on my CL project...

Ordered....
A set of Koni SRT shocks
Eibach Prokit
Clear Bumper Lights
Added 10k HID high beams
Installled a intake (Hummed like a mofo so I took it off)
Installed reversed Glo gauges
Fixing to order drilled rotors
