I know the idea behind adding a throttle body spacer to get more power on V8's. Does this work with our motors as well.

Id love some more low rpm power.
Ive looked for peoples opinions on this product and I found a mix of answers.

This sounds like that Tornado thing all over again - I like the idea of a high-pitched whistling sound, although my K&N drop in already has a little one....

 

i have it and yes i think it works it is aluminum abot 2.50 in wide and sounds like u have a turbo and it helped out alot with throttle response and low end torque i dont have to give it half gas to get on the interstate and the sounds draws alot of attention i think i payed 120.00 from summit

I don't understand how that increases HP or torque. It makes the same claims as that Tornado thing on TV. Can someone explain how this is beneficial?

 

Ok i called the Street & Performance Products and talked to guy named Dean. He told me that they are only avalibe througha dealer. if you are in calii can get a group buy if you are seriously interested, i am working on a dyno for the cars, but he can get it to me in a week for sure, because it needs to be scanned and put on the server.

I called a local dealer the price for them retail is $109.99 and if we were to do a group buy it would be around 90 or so. i should be getting a call from this guy soon

but according to Dean at S&P the dyno chart gave 12hp and 16ft of torque with the power tower for the 3.0. mroe numbers to come soon if this price is good i might get them to hook it up for us. ill keep you all posted

 

after talking with the local distributor in california i can get them for $86 each. for sure price. thats not bad for 12 hp and 16lbs of torque let me know if anyone else in interested, this is for all model for the 2.2, 2.3, and 3.0. any one you can get for $86. let me know and pm me if you want more details

I work at Summit Racing and we sell at least 300 Power Towers a day. I just never gave them much thought until now. I'm fortunate to get all parts at cost too.

ive heard they make a whistle sometimes but thats the only bad stuff ive heard from the people that actualy have one.
