Headers...

I read in the accordclub.com forum that headers won't be of much help for a 94-97 Accord EX. I'm sure all of you know that this has the same engine as the 97 2.2 CL. They say the stock headers already have the 4-2-1 design and upgrading to say, DC Sports or Neuspeeds aren't gonna give you much added hp. Can someone confirm this???

Thanks.

Yup thats totally true.
Ceramic headers will be lighter over stock though. You might even lose a little torque but gain top end speed.

yo dc 4-2-1 header is worth every penny. if u already have a CAI, catback Exhaust, then u will know ur car lost low end power. switching to a dc will pretty much get ur low end back while also giving u some mid-high gain. couple hp. i noticed a big difference after my header install. i already had i/e/p beforehand. not to mention the dc cc 4-2-1 is much lighter then stock cast iron (which is good or our 2.2/2.3s and they look 1000000000000 times better. if u already got cai and catback then buy a header if not get them first.
