Header Question....?
Well....some people say that headers are good some say that they are too much money for a small change....
If im not right....what the header does is make more flow for the exhaust (im not sure if im saying right) and if this is right that is gonna take some back****, whatever is called) which is gonna take compression off the engine and lose power...unless you have a lot of air coming in, like a supercharger, that shouldn't be a good mod....
is this right?

I did notice a slight loss in my low low end torque. But around 4000 rpm's my car starts pulling a lot quicker to 6000 rpm's, because of less backpressure. The faster you go = the quicker you suck in air (kinda like a ram air induction) with a CAI or short ram. The quicker you get the air out of your car, the faster your car goes. Our cars all ready have a 4-2-1 manafold. What I noticed about my DC Sport it has a little bit larger outlets, smoother insides not cast steel, and is lighter. It was worth the money just on how better it makes the engine look. With most any mod you give and take with performance. Either a lot of money or low end torque to get high end. I would not take my header off for anything.
