Funny story about the rear brake pads being harder... the fucking dealer when they replaced them the first time decided to use an impact gun on them, and in the process, cross-threaded the bolts and nuts (I guess they're not really nuts, but whatever). I had to call another guy to get the passenger side bolts out for me, then I had to order new bolts and nuts. There is no reason for caliper bolts to be that tight when you have to replace pads eventually.

insurance adjuster finally looked at the car today
should be getting the front fender fixed any day now, with a rental car to toy with in the meantime!

originally he thought it included the damage in the rear fender, which looks worse IMO, and I had to tell him it was just the front fender.. he asked me twice "not back here too??" and I said "sadly, no... I wish it were, but just up here"
it was tempting, but I'm not interested in finding out if I can get away with insurance fraud.. no thanks

Damn, the weekend that I wanted to blackhouse my lights my grandma has to go get sick and we have to go to El Paso. :sigh: Nothing is going right so far. Never got my light tint, debadging was a failure, now I have to wait a couple of weeks to start the blackhousing which am kinda skeptical about.. Just had to vent...

Good news tho!
finally finished Drivers ed classes/driving/observing!
I get my license May 21st!

So heres what im up to:
Bought a carbon fiber gauge bezel, and white gauges off of ebay. I know im going to install the bezel, but am having second thoughts about the gauges. Im thinking i'll just go with an led swap for the gauges instead. Also im planning on doing some more led swaps in the interior/exterior.
I am going to buy a AEM SRI any day now, but the only thing im not sure about is what color to get. I was thinking about getting a red one, then get some red plug wires to match, but im thinking that might be a little too .
Today im doing a massive interior cleaning. Vaccuming, using some meguiars quik detailer, and some of that plastic polish stuff. I might post some pics when im done.
Sometime this spring/summer im going to try to blackhouse the headlights and corners.

Any opinions are appreciated.

That's pretty encourageing to do more coming from you. (not sarcasm)

Well, got to drive about a quarter of the way to El Paso in the family van with perents. It feels wierd going 80mph for the first time with narrow roads with 18 wheelers passing you... Mexican truckers are nuts yo!

"hay guys, whats going on"

well my CL is most likely gone, and Ketel One is all the most all around and best taking vodka ever. (cheap and still tastes good, especially with seltzer and lime.

I like stoli for a medium level vodka.

I hate vodka in general though, drank WAY too much of it in college. I prefer to get shitfaced with tequilla now

Just sitting at home in Dallas with the blown head gaskets still. I live in Cali now, so I don't have the option of driving/fixing my CL anymore untill I find a garage for cheap out here. I pretty much gave up on finding on. I miss my car!

You're gonna have to look for accord stuff. Alot of it will fit the CL. Especially suspension. Congrats on the CL pickup
