just got home after getting a phone call from my buddy at 9am. he was drinking all night, got kicked out of a diner at 830, owner called the police. I VTEC'd my ass down there to drive his car out of the lot so he wouldn't get a DUI but the cop was a dick and had it towed. we spent the rest of the day jumpin from police station to impound lot only to be told that the car is in his moms name and she had to do all that. fucking shit.... /

I'll have my projector setup done somewhat soon..
I have about 2 weeks of nonstop writing to do for my senior project, but hopefully I will find time in there to get some work done on the headlights. I did some dremel work tonight, but I'm not too sure of these shrouds. I may have to go a different route due to an unforeseen issue, and a foreseen issue that I haven't quite resolved.
Worst case scenario, I don't get it done until I'm done with school -- about 6 weeks.
Likely scenario, I get it done in about 2-3 weeks, after I get finished with this senior project.
Best case scenario, I get the shroud issues resolved much faster than I anticipate, and everything goes so smoothly that I finish it next weekend (not very likely)!
I'd rather dedicate some real time and effort to this shit since it's been a such a long process. I'd hate to just slap it all together in the end with some crappy craftsmanship. But damn it's so tempting just to throw it all together when I have all the parts right here! Be that as it may, I can't let myself half-ass this. I'm not going to rush it, because I know I'll be 100x happier with the result if I really do it right.
Hopefully they turn out great and I can do some good ol' fashioned whoring

Going to finish putting my friend's Z back together today if that counts as a project... except it's a nissan. Been a long process of frame straightening and lots of parts. Idiot hit a concrete mailbox and took out his front end. He bent his front passenger strut into an L shape and snapped his control arms into pieces to give you an idea of the rest of the damage. But it's running now, we just need to put on some panels and paint the CF hood and install some audio goods.
