Yeah dude, I haven't been around here much these days either. Work has been keeping me busy. After finally getting that thing in, it held up VERY nice all summer. I forgot how nice it was having heated seats. The motor is hanging in there also. I should have never tried to take the motor assembly apart just to see what it looks like. What have you been up to?

Haha I wasn't sure. I was getting ready to yell at you if it wasn't! I absolutely love the TL-S, those things are sexy machines. There's a person that comes to my Panera sometimes with a TL-S with gunmetal rims. Very sexy car.

for the lowered cl's out there. Did grinding down the area where it hits your inner fender rid of the nasty metal scraping - whenever you hit a big bump. I can see where it's hitting. About an inch or two of metal scraped off the inner fender. Shave your control arms? I hear that's bad tho.

Did removing the fender liner help tire rub issues?

I cant even take turns quickly without hitting the fender. Springs are too soft for my v6.

I removed my fender liner adn then took a hammer and pounded the metal fender area where the control arm gets near back a little bit

The gunmetal rims are the stock ones for the TL-S

I just picked up a Pro-Kit... I won't be 4x4 much longer. It's not as much of a drop as I want, but we'll see how it looks while I save up for coilovers.

So this new IS has fuel EPA of 21/29. Im barely getting 21/22 right now with about 85/90% highway driving.

that, and I need premium fuel now. The hit isnt so bad, maybe an extra 7/8$ at the pump now. Once i get my driving under control (still driving the thing EVERYWHERE) it shouldnt be so bad.

its weird... I guess maybe the engine is still being broken in? I looked at my guage this morning and my tank average was 21.8 mpg. Ive been driving her like a granny these past couple days to conserve my gas... but I cant be driving like that forever lol.

we'll see whats up a month from now or so. I need to take her in for the complimentary 1000mi oil change so that will probably come tomorrow.
