wouldn't it work kind of weird since the s2k revs up to 9000 but ours only goes to 6300?

It's been done with RSX gauges, not the s2k. I've been waiting for someone to pull of the s2k conversion

you can do it in any car

you just need to buy the cluster/a vss conversion box, and a pulse signal thingy (forgot what it is, but its special to the s2k)...and of course a ton of fabrication to make it fit and look right. If you shop around you should be able to piece all the parts together for like 500 bucks. i personally wouldnt do it unless I had a show car, but I think it looks pretty sick

I looks just as badass in an auto as in a 5spd..
I'm pretty sure people do it for looks rather than functionality.

IMO I dont think the rsx gauges would look that nice in our cars due to the silver center needle trim...looks fine on the rsx since it matches the dashboard trim but on ours it would just look out of place

if you're looking to do a nice cluster swap with good 'out of box' fitment and added extras like illuminated needles, do a 5th gen prelude swap

did it on my 4th gen accord...looked pretty badass at night

No. You're making the entire process way to easy. You have to do a lot of cutting and splicing. You will find the CL gauge cluster pin outs here on azine. S2k id try somewhere else. Gl

word...

with any gauge cluster swap (save the 5th gen accords), you're looking at buying pig tails, buying tons of spare wire....sitting down with 2 pages of wiring diagrams and determining/writing down which wires correspond to what....and a shitload of soldering.

took me around 9 hours straight (including a lot of testing/trial and error) to finally get my lude gauge cluster working correctly in my accord

it's definitely not fun, so you have to determine whether or not the look of a different set of instrumentation in your car is really worth it. It's the primary reason why I havent done the lude swap in the CL...just not really into the nightmare of it all just for illuminated needles and amber lighting.
