H22a drop in a 3.0
H22a drop in a 3.0
Is it possible to drop an H22 into a 3.0? Reason that I would like to do this is that they make a lot more parts for the H22, they make a turbo, its DOHC, and its stick. So I was just wondering if it was possible, and if not, what could we do to the 3.0 to make it faster, other than NOS.
Even though they make more parts, in the high end, the 3.0 has better pull.
I raced a prelude with the same mods and I got 3 cars on him from 80-115/120 mph.
Why spend so much money and not gain any HP?
Only reason would be to go turbo.

i've thought about this alot, we put a prelude motor next to my car and it appears that you could fabricate mounts to fit pretty easily. If i blow my tranny before I get rid of this car (which is hopefully soon) I'll probally give this swap a try.
I've seen the new Accord EX. My neighbor just got one, it's not the V6. The back end is funny-looking and it sort of looks like a mix between the Chevy Impala and the Lexus IS300. I guess it's something that you have to get use to.
