H22 Swap almost complete

Check out this link.
H22 aCLude

We are at a dead stand still, trying to figure out why the car won't start. We have wired the distributor FINALLY...But still cannot get the motor to turn over!!! We think that it is because of the Immobilizer. Can anyone shed some light on the subject? Here is the problem. OBDI ECU (95 Prelude P13) and the 99 CL, which has an immobilizer within the ECU. Can anyone tell me if the JDM 95 Prelude had a immobilizer, and if so where??????????????? ;;Internal within the ECU, or external= a part I need to track down????? I already am getting the feeling that I will have to have a key chipped to match the P13 ECU that is currently installed, or the immobilizer that goes with a Prelude. Any help is greatly appreciated. I wonder why I have not herad about this????????????

Those are old pics there. Those stickers have long been gone. Those were on the ride when I bought it.

Lol.. no, it has been powder-coated. It is a little heavy on one side, but he only charged 20.00 bucks for the job.... I thought that it was an awesome job.

Well it probably would have cost around $2800.00, because the motor + ECU cost $1595.00. The waterpump, seals, belts, hoses=$350.00. And the labor is costing me approximately $600.00, Plus all of the little shit, like Driver side motor mount for a prelude= $25.00. JDM distributor=$130.00Skunk 2 harness was $120.00.

However, the performance parts consist of:
ACT Clutch=$350.00
ClutchMasters 8lb. Flywheel=$230.00
Skunk2 Intake Manifold= $350.00
Skunk2 68 mm Throttle body =$292.00
AEM Fuel Rail=$119.00
Used AEM Pressure Regulator=$75.00
DC Sports Header= 325.00
Greddy EVO2 Exhaust=500.00

Which Snowballs the swap to approximately $5100.00...but that Bitch will RUN!

The unexpected costs (SO FAR) are:
Stolen Stereo=$150.00.
Stolen Short Ram intake=125.00
Motor mount inserts=40.00

are you using a conversion harness? check for spark first. and if you went auto to manual make sure the park/neutral wire is grounded out. take your dizzy off and head up to autozone and have them test the components (ICM, coil, etc) make sure those are good. get back to me on this stuff so i can make more suggestions.

I'm not sure if anyone else has had this prob.... But that copper manifold gasket.... Not such a great idea. I've used the Mr. Gasket Copper Seal gaskets before... They always seem to get too hot and split. I've found that the best gasket to use for the maifold is the factory stainless steel gasket.

Nice engine though. If I still had my CL I'd definately be jealous.

noob yeah, search yup, I know, but I still want to ask why is your conversion costing you so much? I don't know anything about engines, sorry about that. Isn't something like this all you need to complete the H22 SWAP?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33615

That complete swap cost $2075, isn't that all someone would need? Are there a ton of other costs associated with the swap?

As soon as the motor starts.... I will begin to part what is left out. Right now, I am concentrating on 1 thing day in and day out....Getting the motor started.
I'll post up what is left from the swap, and Highest bid takes it.
