Or would any onw want to purchase a 97 h22a4 with 75k. block guard, types s pistons, stage 3 exedy clutch fidenza flywheel, and thinking type s cam.
Need help with drop in questions and or would like 2 sell motor and 5 speed tranny if anyone interested.

you'll have to add vtec pressure switch, knock sensor, and intake air bypass solenoid...some of the sensor wires you'll have to extend. YOu'll also have to get a prelude throttle cable and bracket. some other minor stuff too... if you have any questions then pm me

you need a obd2b-obd1 jumper harness and a obd1 ecu if its not 97-01 motor.. either way if you ever plan on ecu modification then you must use a obd1 ecu.
any of these ecu's will work fine - p13, p72, p28, p30, p61, p08j, p30j, p72j. most people dont recomend p13 ecu because their not chipable.
i have a chipped s100 p28 ecu from hondata. not installed yet, waiting on the dyno tune...

you need to do some searching
wish I had people tell me all these years ago when i dropped my first h22
i had to go thru thick and thin to get things right
whatever you do. DO NOT GET THE p28
it does not have the Knock Sensor. Something which you need.

you dont really need the knock sensor. it depends on whether you want to keep your knock sensor or not. if not, go with the p28 and tune it. knock sensor really isnt all that important if you know how to maintain your car. any obd1 ecu that i mentioned earlier that is properly tuned will be okay.

yes you do need the knock sensor. after a while you start pinging because of it.
IAB selenoid (secondary runner control) can be bypassed therefore you dont even need the pinout for it and yes the P28 has to be chipped but its not sufficient for a proper run

hahaha, what do you bowl ? Shiney, have you honestly looked into other means of getting power to the ground ? your suspension, weight bias and corner balance might be throwing you off. Slap in some higher spring rates....get your car corner balanced and upgrade while your at it...stiffin things up in the handling depo......sways.
