I heard from one of the members that it isn't worth getting a H22 swap... I just wanted to know what the other owners of a H22 have to say about it... I really don't want to invest the money into the swap if everyone who has one isn't satisfied with it...

So tell me what you think about it... Is it worth the money or do you think doing your swap was a huge mistake...

Purecrazed- i think you are talking about me, and if you are i think you got the wrong feeling from me. I just meant that theres alot of little things that need to be fixed/changed in the beginning when everybody first gets there swap done.

check engine lights, oil leaks, clunking axels, loose belts, stange smells, funny sounds, and smog issues are the norm for almost everyone thats done the swap. (including myself)

i love the motor and the way it performs and i think it is well worth the money, i just meant that I myself would have just rather got rid of the car and go something new and hassle free. see what I mean? I think you thought that I meant all h22 owners wish they would have got rid of their CL which was not what i was trying to say.

I wish I had done it sooner, there were a couple of people that I wanted to clean up, but now that I have the H they no longer have they're cars. I'm very pleased, engine $950, install $450 and other lil tid bits that i done while the engine was out.

last time i checked the website was supposed to be an automotive enthusiast community not a smartass remark, postwhoring, worthless thread community like it has become. Take a look around and notice that over half of the original members are never in here because its the same old bullshit over and over. nothing usefull at all. If you want to be a dick, take yourself over to honda-tech. If assholes could fly that place would be an airport.

 

I half agree with you on this one...It IS the same bullshit over and over again. Plus look at the age pool that CL owners are now. They're being passed to their kids, etc etc. Thus there have been more rice questions like "where do I find Altezzas" every week. Or "should I go with APC or StreetGlo." These things I just like to smirk and make fun of. Its like when you're in the car and you see a mustang with giant park bench on the trunk. Or like when people keep saying the h22 makes the CL fast. Just trying to set people straight on reality here. If you like to mod and make the CL slick...Its all good. But everyone has an opinion...Thus are mine.

 

 

I think they just like seeing their name on everyone's thread whether they have some info on the subject or not...
