Grills =P
I'm thinking about doing both the top and bottom grills. Can anyone send me some info on how to do this with a 99' CL?
Thanx ahead...

GotRice, our grilles are 1 piece so if you wanna mesh it, you gotta do the whole thing including the chrome trim ring. Or you could get the 97 one and do it that way. For the bottom, just get the 6"x20' roll at home depot or sears hardware andcut the length you need, then carefully stuff it down into the bumper and even it out. To fasten it, i used black twistie wire. Click the link in my sig for pics

Guys that looks like crap...sorry, but it does, you can see the old grille
this is what you: go to a performance shop and get the real mesh from Cali that they put on bodykits, and cut it to the size (with over lap and bondo it to your inside bumper. As for the top you have to buy the 97 Grille and take it apart, check out PHASTCL's CL and you will see what I mean

so basically we've gotton nowhere with this thread.... I too want to put mash on the front grill. More times I see that people have done a really ugly job on it, and I want mine to look very clean...I also want mine to be on the outside (no offence, my preference) but your grill still looks safe on the inside Blacura. Ideally I'd want mine to look like CLxtreme's but there's no instructions on the site. Bottom line...I think I speak for Got Rice? too, is that we want step by step instructions on how to do this.
P.S. does it look batter to double layer the mesh
P.S.S. does any1 know of any billet grills for our car, those might be tight.

see i don't think bein able to see the black stuff looks like shit. In MaCe's post there seemed to be no flames but maybe just with mine. I think mace's looks tight, i might add some layers. Plus my way is a lot easier (20 min) and requires no bondo.
