true, but look at the 98's and up todd........youve gotta pull that whole surrounding trim to get the radio out........it was like that in mervyn's car...........took us a few minutes to figure that out when i did the vinyl

What they are showing is how to remove the radio from a 1998-99 CL, not a '97.

The '97 is MUCH simpler.

Take a small, flat-head screwdriver and pry the trim ring that surrounds your headunit, clock, hazard switch and storage compartment (under your headunit). Be gentle. Once the trim ring is loose, unplug your clock and hazard switch, and remove the trim ring.

Shine a flashlight under the storage compartment (under your head unit). You should see two screws/bolts. Undo these bolts, and the entire headunit/storage compartment (along with support/mounting bracket) will pull out a little. Unplug the antena and wiring harness, and pull the unit out.

dude it is basically the same install that is on installdr.com

but the installdr page has a wiring diagram with wire color codes for the stock harness and the aftermarket harness.
