i need a catalytic converter ASAP because mine is done and i have to renew my inspection by sunday. could sum1 hook me up wit a site to get a good aftermarket 1 (high flow)? and would the converter for a 94-97 accord fit on my 99 5 sp? any help is much appreciated

I had the same problem, where the CAT code popped up. I went to the Acura dealer and they told me that I need a new cat, but they also reset the check engine light. I drove around for probably 2+ weeks and the light never came on. I went to get emissions done yesterday and it passed, so try getting the light reset first.

 

yeah, my light came on like 2 months ago. they reset it, and i havn't had a problem since.

...i have no clue if i would pass emissions tests or not though-
lucky for me, they aren't required in New Orleans

why dont u just take urs off and beat the guts out of it.... it prolly wont pass emmissions. but its cheaper than a high flow
