Got Into An Accident I Need Help!!!!

Hey fellas its been a long time since i have posted on here. Anyways i was in the parking lot of a mall today and i was pulling out of the parking spot. A lady going the wrong way in the one way reversed into my front bumper and the whole thing almost came off!!!!!!! Anyways its her fault but heres the problem. I wasnt insered its under my fathers name. So i cant get the money from her. im trying to see if she will settle this without going to the insurance but she kinda acted like it wasnt her fault! Anyways i was wondering if any of you guys know how much a new front bumper would cost me. I really need your help this time and if you know anyone that can hook an 18 year old with little money please let me know. This is very importanat to me and i would greatly appreciate your hellp. Pretty sure parking lots are no fault areas in most states so both insurance companies pay but i could very well be wrong. Why dont you just go through your dads name, what the big deal?

Its that way here in Texas as well. If your on his policy as a driver you will be ok.

State Farm or Allstate will determine liability even if it's in a parking lot. If she was going the wrong direction and she admits it....she should be 100% liable.

did you get all of her info? if she admits to everything you might have a chance for her insurance paying for everything. I got hit at gas station by an off duty COP, he had to pay. Like I said if she admits to everything it will be kool. if she doesnt, well thats another story. At least know one was hurt and it was not your fault. hope your dad is not too mad. Hope it works out

So you are driving uninsured? If thats the case its sounds like you are screwed because she seems to think it wasnt her fault from your first post and if she thinks its your fault and tries to seek damages i dont know what you are going to do?

Call her insurance company and file a claim against her. If they ask for your insurance info doen't goive it to them. Say it was 100% her fault and you do not want your insurance to get involved. They will then talk to there client to determine libability. Even if tehy find she is 50% libable they will cut you a check for half of the cost of fixing it.

Umm, I have a little bit of experience in this area so I may be able to help. There is a law in almost every state in the United States that says when someone loans you their car(ie. you driving a car on your dad's name), then that person also loans you their insurance. It is completely legal, but I beleive it will make your rates go up. Check into it, my insurance agent told me about this and it worked.

yeah my car is insured no matter who drives it, ie if my girl wrecked my car my insurance would buy me a new one, but my rates would go up.

I think it's better for you to fix up your self cause the insurance will go up and your father will have to put you down as a driver and thats will make the insurance go up alot. any way to purchase a front bumper go to ACURAAUTOMOTIVEPARTS.NET it pretty cheap there I had to buy my parts from there.
